Olumuyiwa John (OJ) joined Deloitte in January 2017 and specialises in CRD IV Prudential Regulatory Reports, Capital Requirements Regulations (CRR), Capital Requirements Directive (CRD), Compliance, Regulatory Reporting data requirement analysis and Central Bank of Ireland Statistical Reports. Previously, OJ worked in the industry as a senior regulatory reporting accountant. In that role, he led a securitisation funding plan initiative from a regulatory reporting perspective to assess optimal structure of the instrument from a business, liquidity (LCR) and capital requirements (Corep) perspective. He was also a member of Anacredit working group.
OJ was responsible for synthesizing new and existing regulatory requirements issued by European Commission, European Banking Authority, Basel Committee and Central Bank of Ireland with the view to analyse and advise of relevant business implications. In particular, OJ played a key role in operationalizing the Basel III suite of regulatory reports from requirements definition, to IT mapping, testing and the production of returns in quarterly reporting cycles.
