John is a partner in the Financial Services Group in Dublin and has over 20 years’ experience in financial services audit and advisory work in Ireland and internationally.
His recent experience includes lead audit partner on a local Pillar Bank as well as a number of Irish based asset management and private equity companies as well as IFSC based banks.
John is the head of technical accounting for Deloitte Ireland and leads IFRS 9 advisory services for Deloitte Ireland. He specialises in financial instrument valuation, treasury and credit risk. He has worked with large Irish and European companies and banks. This includes work performed on accounting advisory, credit, impairment, restructuring, capital, financial instruments valuation, benchmarking, process and control reviews.
