Gerardine is Director of the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and Associate Dean of the UCD College of Business. A Professor of Accounting and Taxation, Gerardine is a Fellow Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Chartered Tax Adviser. In 2020 Gerardine was appointed President of the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management, a multidisciplinary network for over 50,000 management scientists. Gerardine is Principal Investigator for a number of major European comparative research projects addressing key areas of health policy and tax policy spanning the disciplines of accounting, medicine, public health and taxation. Gerardine has been included in the HERoes top 100 Women Future Leaders List 2021 supported by @YahooFinance.
