Meet the 2024 Deloitte One Young World Ambassadors
2024 is a year of unstoppable progress. Our 53 Deloitte professionals, six Deloitte OYW scholars, two Lead2030 challenge winners, and ten Canada-based community group delegates are ready to act—to help amplify Indigenous voices, offset the climate crisis, use Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a force for good, drive health equity, and promote lasting peace.

- Indigenous Voices — Despite making up 6.2% of the world’s population, Indigenous people are underrepresented when it comes to global decision making. Connect with Deloitte delegates from Indigenous communities at the Indigenous Youth Day event on 17 September 2024 to discuss new ways to expand representation around the globe.
- The Climate and Ecological Crisis — The world’s water supply is in peril. With 2.4 billion people living in water-stressed countries and water shortages becoming more common, it’s critical we collectively act to find new ways to protect and fairly distribute the world’s water supply.
- Artificial Intelligence — With the skyrocketing presence of generative artificial intelligence, and so many potential risks, humanity is at a crossroads in ensuring the ethical development of the technology and finding ways to ensure it’s used for good.
- Health Inequality — Around the globe, in both developed and developing nations, gender inequality in healthcare is still prevalent with women’s access frequently hindered. It’s a global effort to address the cultural, economic, and social factors driving these disparities.
- Peace — In the wake of a year of global unrest, nearly half of the OYW survey respondents were less optimistic about peace in their region than in 2023, with many concerned about the 117+ million forcibly displaced people around the world. Moving forward, how can each of us advocate for lasting world peace?
