WEF is an international organization that connects leaders from business, government, society, and academia to shape global, regional, and industry agendas. Together, WEF and its strategic partners work collaboratively to address issues of global importance and inspire action to improve the state of the world.
Drawing on Deloitte’s experience and capabilities from across our global network, we support WEF’s mission through active leadership in communities and multi stakeholder initiatives that address pressing global challenges through our purpose-driven framework. These initiatives provide platforms for collaboration—bringing together public and private sector leaders to exchange knowledge, shape the global agenda, and scope tangible project collaborations.
Through year round engagement, including participation in major WEF convenings such as the Annual Meeting at Davos, Deloitte works alongside decisionmakers and subject matter experts to develop frameworks, ideas, and approaches that respond to an evolving global landscape.
The principles-based report, Board Leadership for Growth and Resilience, refreshes the 2019 Principles for Effective Climate Governance to incorporate Nature, offering a fresh perspective on how boards can effectively manage the risks and opportunities on this critical and evolving agenda. The report offers practical guidance and is a resource for board members and C-suite leaders focused on building strategic growth and resilience in the context of climate and nature sustainability governance.
To accelerate the decarbonization of heavy industry demands more than early market enthusiasm – it requires addressing the barriers that hinder suppliers from delivering low-carbon technologies and products at sufficient speed and scale. This report seeks to elevate the voices of the producers, project developers and innovators working within the hardest-to-abate heavy industrial sectors that underpin the world’s mobility and materials systems.
