Sami is chair of the board of Deloitte EMEA and a member of the Deloitte Global Board of Directors. Prior to this, Sami was the CEO of Deloitte Central Europe (“DCE GmbH”), which comprised 42 countries, approximately 33,000 professionals and generated net revenue of more than USD$6 billion. Before that, Sami was CEO of Deloitte France and French-speaking Africa. He has also been managing partner Financial Advisory, chief People Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for Deloitte France. Sami serves as a foundation board member at IMD, a European business school.
Sami is passionate about client service excellence, technology and innovation and the development of talent.
Sami is a certified public accountant and has an MBA from INSEAD, a master’s degree from ESSEC Business School, and an engineering degree from INPG.
Father of two daughters aged 23-27, Sami lives in Munich. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, particularly tennis, golf and skiing, as well as French literature, wine tasting, and Japanese cuisine.
