Yvonne Rene de Cotret

In the 30+ years prior to this role, Yvonne collaborated with clients across North America to define and implement service innovations that enable the safe and efficient flow of passengers and goods across modes of transportation. She has consulted on numerous transformation programs involving regional and municipal public transit operators, passenger and freight rail operators, postal and logistics operators, air and marine port authorities, as well as border security and immigration agencies. An architect by trade, Yvonne has a keen eye for major industry trends and client priorities in order to align Deloitte capabilities, offerings and experiencesmedia to provide differentiated solutions to best serve her clients’ business needs.

Within Deloitte Canada, Yvonne has held industry sector and account leadership roles. From 2014 through 2023, Yvonne held the position of Transport Sector leader for both commercial and public sector entities.  She has also served as Deloitte Canada’s lead client service partner for large priority accounts. Prior to Deloitte, Yvonne held leadership roles with other global professional service firms across sales, delivery, as well as quality and risk management functions.

Regularly consulted by media industry on the future of transport and travel, Yvonne uses her voice and perspective to challenge traditional orthodoxies to shape how our clients and industry think about the future to build resiliency and sustainability into their business. Yvonne has actively engaged with the boards and committees for TechNation, WTS international, as well as the Toronto Regional Board of Trade (TRBOT).   She has led the authorship of several papers published by Deloitte Canada as well as broader industry topics such as the future of mobility, post-COVID recovery and energy transition in transport. Yvonne has also led panel discussions for industry events such as North America CES as well as the Canadian International Auto Show.
