Will Symons is Deloitte’s Asia Pacific Sustainability Leader and Asia Pacific Strategy, Risk & Transactions Sustainability Leader, with more than 25 years of international experience supporting organisations to respond to climate change, build resilience and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy.
He has worked extensively across all infrastructure classes, leading national-level climate risk assessments, innovative adaptation strategies, urban resilience strategies across Asia, and climate risk management programs for government, infrastructure and private sector clients.
Will has led dozens of climate risk, adaptation, resilience and carbon management projects, including sustainability and carbon management services for infrastructure projects with an aggregate capital value exceeding AUD $15 billion. He is also an experienced facilitator and trainer and co-developed the Great Barrier Reef Foundation’s Resilient Reefs initiative.
