He joined Deloitte in 2005 and has more than eighteen years of experience in Analytics and Decision Support systems-engineering within Mining & Metals, Oil & Gas and other industries in Europe and Brazil, serving clients that are recognized leaders in their sector. Before assuming Brazil AI & Data Lead, he lead the Smart Industry Solutions practice for Energy & Resources and the Computer Vision Factory in Brazil. Tim Wiesel’s key skills are the practical application of AI and GenAI, Business Intelligence and Analytics implementation projects as well as AI Strategy projects. He has lead landmark projects such as development of on-premise Private LLMs for Offshore Engineering, production optimization, predictive maintenance, occupational safety and ESG analytics. His profound technical knowledge includes AI and Advanced Analytics platforms, Computer Vision solutions, LLMs, AI-related cloud computing and architecture, Data Management, Agile leadership of Analytics solution and asset development.
