Stefanie Chang

Stefanie is a manager in the Crisis Management practice, based out of New York. She advises Fortune 500 companies on how to prepare, respond, and recover from disruptive events.

She has worked extensively with organizations to assess existing crisis management capabilities and to develop enterprise crisis management strategy and capabilities. Stefanie focuses on financial services and life science and healthcare companies. Her work spans crisis management governance and strategy development, integrating with other risk functions such as enterprise risk management and business continuity, supporting real-time responses for emerging crises, and conducting after action reviews following recent crises. Stefanie also designs executive crisis leadership training and crisis simulations.

Prior to Deloitte, Stefanie spent seven years in international emergency operations and strategy, launching and managing response programs for major disasters, such as the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the 2011 Japan tsunami, and most recently for the 2015 Ebola response in Sierra Leone. She serves on the board of All Hands and Hearts, a non-profit that addresses the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters around the world.
