Shoichi Negishi leads Deloitte Japan’s Life Sciences and Health Care (LSHC) practice. He has more than 30 years of consulting experience, with over 25 years dedicated specifically to the life sciences and health care industry. Shoichi specializes in areas such as research and development, medical, safety, and QA/RA within pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech companies, as well as ecosystem development in health care. He brings broad and deep expertise in strategy, business, and technology/digital transformation. Shoichi also serves as a lead client service partner at global, regional, and local levels, and is recognized as one of the most influential consultants in the life sciences and health care sector in Japan.
Shoichi supports both Japan-headquartered and multinational companies in enhancing global collaboration and harmonization, strengthening global strategy, accelerating business transformation, and enabling technology and digital adoption. His work ultimately aims to contribute to patient outcomes and human health worldwide. As a leader, he is committed to developing practitioners in Japan to deliver greater value to the industry. Shoichi also lectures at universities on life sciences trends and the future of the industry, helping students and medical professionals envision their roles in the evolving life sciences and health care landscape.
