Silas Zhu

Silas Zhu is Partner of Strategy, Risk & Transactions services in Deloitte China national practice. He has worked 24 years in  Deloitte with practice experience both in China and U.S. Silas is also Business Security Leader of  Deloitte China, under Reputation Risk Group of China firm. He leads business security office to be responsible for Deloitte China’s confidentiality, privacy, data security compliance and cross board data transferring compliance.

He has rich experience in China data compliance regulation, as well as in providing internal control review, advisory services, internal audit, and information system control for multinational corporations, foreign-investment enterprises, large  state-owned enterprises, oversea-listed companies, and high-tech and fintech companies. He helps various companies to perform audit procedures with using different specialized data analytic tools and techniques for control purpose and also provides date preparation, health check, and other related audit services before goes market. Meanwhile, he is leading Deloitte Risk Advisory digital assurance team to provide enterprises with  Deloitte financial digital solutions based on Robotic Automation and intelligent, cognitive technology. These successful cases in manufacture, financial, and retail industries evoke wide repercussions. He leads Deloitte China Risk adversary service in Jiangxi and Hubei Province to provide strategic risk advisory services to local government and state-owned enterprises.

He is also key note speaker and researcher fellow of Intelligent Finance Research Center  by National Accounting Academy and sitting in review committee of  “Ten Information Technology affected Accounting. Silas received his Bachelor of Science from Fudan University Management School and Master of Business & Administration from University of Chicago.
