Sara Siegel

Deloitte Global Health & Human Services Sector Leader

Sara is the Deloitte Global Health & Human Services Sector leader. In this role, she works closely with public and private health care practice leaders within the Deloitte network to help organizations address some of the transformational changes impacting the sector from digital transformation, workforce, and operational efficiencies.  

In her role as Deloitte UK Public Sector Leader, Sara has worked with the National Health Service (NHS) and health care clients for the past 20 years in the UK and across Europe. For the past two years, she has also led Deloitte North and South Europe health care practice

Deloitte’s network has broad capabilities including digital transformation, net-zero, supply chain, governance and leadership, operational improvement, and AI and robotic tools to help improve the speed and quality of health care services and enable more time for direct patient care.

Sara has led the growth of the UK practice over the past three years including work with a growing number of integrated care systems (ICS) and NHS clients, as well as key central health care bodies in the UK including NHS Englad and NHS Improvement (NHS E/I), NHS Digital, UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), and NHS Blood and Transplant. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sara has led programs supporting the government in the UK with its COVID-19 response including the set-up and running of the COVID-19 testing program open to citizens in the United Kingdom.

Sara holds a BS from Northwestern University and an MBA from Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD). She is also a trustee of the Peter Sowerby Foundation which supports health care causes.
