Her expertise spans Japanese and US individual income tax compliance, as well as the transformation of global mobility programs. She focuses on aligning mobility strategies with business and talent objectives, driving operational optimization through innovative and user-centric digital solutions.
May also has extensive experience with global mobility compensation practices, helping organizations manage compliance risks and streamline cross-border compensation processes. Her bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English enables her to effectively serve both global and Japanese-headquartered corporations, leading large cross-regional teams and digital transformation projects.
In addition to her technical expertise, May has held the people experience leader and chief operating officer for Deloitte Japan’s Tax & Legal practice. Outside of work, May enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors with her family, engaging in sports and other activities.
