Mike Canning is the Deloitte Global Chief Strategy Officer and leads the Global Strategy, Innovation & Public Policy Office, an integral part of the Global CEO's executive committee. The team develops the strategic narrative, executes our Shared Agenda, and provides cutting-edge sensing; positioning Deloitte to thrive for the next decade.
Mike previously led Deloitte's Government & Public Services Industry, which provides consulting services to states, cabinet-level agencies in the U.S. government, higher education, and non-profits.
For nearly three decades Mike has specialized in helping clients address complex business issues with innovative solutions. Mike served as the lead for Deloitte's largest health care clients including strategic planning, merger and acquisition activities and business transformations.
Prior to his role in GPS Mike was the Global Clients Leader for Global Clients & Industries, where he oversaw efforts to ensure Deloitte member firms consistently deliver exceptional quality.
