Max Murray is a Senior Partner in the financial services insurance division of Deloitte Australia. Max leads the Deloitte Insurance Sector. He has over 23 years global experience from working in the US, Europe and Asia with Insurers and financial services institutions to solve their most complex regulatory, operational or financial issues.
A trusted advisor at Board and C-Level, Max's has worked with a number of the firm’s largest and most well-known clients. In addition to his role as an external audit partner, Max has provided significant consulting services to clients in the insurance sector. These include risk and compliance transformation, regulatory remediation and engagement, M&A, internal audit and accounting advice on complex transactions and arrangements.
Max is a passionate about developing and inspiring the next round of insurance professionals in the Australian market through his role as Vice President of the FSAA and an active advocate of sponsoring better diversity into the Insurance sector and professional services.
