Liza Gonzalo is a director in the Assurance practice of Deloitte China. She is currently based in Tokyo, Japan on secondment in the Technical Centre and in the Assurance practice of Deloitte Japan. Liza is an accounting policy specialist on insurance contracts accounting. She is a member of the Deloitte global IFRS 17 technical accounting team and a participant in the Deloitte’s Global IFRS 17 Expert Advisory Panel. Liza’s depth of expertise in the accounting policy field and insurance industry has been built through over 20 years of work experience as an auditor and accounting policy advisor in the financial services industry, both within practice and in the industry.
