Jane Whitlock is Chair of Deloitte UK.
She is passionate about the role of boards in providing constructive oversight in relation to strategic transformation and sustainable growth, while considering the impact of broader macroeconomic trends.
Prior to becoming Deloitte UK Chair, Jane served on the Deloitte North and South Europe (NSE) Board where she chaired the NSE Audit & Risk Committee, and was also a member of the Deloitte UK Regulatory Boards. She was formerly Practice senior partner of the Midlands Practice in the UK, where she also held various leadership roles in the audit practice. Jane has held various external roles serving on boards and audit committees in the not-for- profit sector.
Jane is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a practicing member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She is an audit partner with over 34 years’ experience, (22 as a partner), serving as lead partner on large and complex clients, primarily FTSE corporates in the retail and energy sector. With these clients, Jane leads a broad range of engagements, including stock exchange, internal controls, governance and regulatory reporting.
Jane lives in the Midlands (UK) with her husband and has two adult children who enjoy holidays together, theatre, restaurants, watching/playing sport and spending time with friends and family.
