Sustainability Assurance leader, Deloitte France
Julien has dedicated his career to sustainability advisory and assurance services. He is a specialist in sustainability reporting and external verification with more than 20 years of experience as an advisor or auditor for organizations of various sizes and sectors.
At Deloitte France since 2008, he has been managing partner of sustainability services e. Since 2024, he has taken the role of the Sustainability Assurance leader.
He is co-author of the book Le développement durable: Le management de l'entreprise responsable [Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility Management] and author of guidebooks and benchmarks on non-financial reporting for the Medef, the French business association (2012 to 2023), an academic report on sustainability assurance (2013) and several benchmarks, studies, and articles on Corporate Sustainability Reporting and sustainability.
He has been involved in many working groups for the audit and accountancy profession at Accountancy Europe, and in France, he is a member of the Sustainability Committees at various financial and audit-related organizations, including the Autorité des Marchés Financiers, Compagnie nationale des commissaires aux comptes, and Haute autorité de l'audit.
