With 25 years of experience, Julien has dedicated his career to sustainability as an advisor and auditor, specializing in sustainability transformation, reporting and assurance.
Julien has been with Deloitte France since 2008, and partner since 2014, leading the Sustainability Services practice. He was previously the Sustainability Assurance leader for Deloitte Central Europe. In 2024, he was appointed as the Deloitte Global leader for Sustainability Assurance.
In his Deloitte France role, Julien has extensive experience serving large clients with global presence across a variety of industries, providing a wide range of sustainability advisory and assurance services. His experience includes strategy development and transition planning, risk management and materiality assessments, change management and implementation, impact measurement, and alignment with reporting standards such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Additionally, Julien is skilled in establishing internal controls and delivering external assurance services.
As a Certified Professional Accountant, he has been involved in many sustainability committees representing the audit profession in Europe at Accountancy Europe, leading sustainability assurance from 2015 to 2024 at the Compagnie nationale des commissaires aux comptes ,the French auditors’ institute, in France, and currently at the Autorité des Marchés Financiers, the French security exchange authority.
