Miguel Eiras Antunes is Deloitte's EMEA Government & Public Services Industry Leader and EMEA Infrastructure, Transport & Regional Government Sector Leader, roles that he also accumulates in Portugal.
In these roles, he leads the firm's public sector agenda across the EMEA region, supporting governments, public institutions and infrastructure organizations in addressing complex transformation challenges, modernizing service delivery and strengthening resilience. Working closely with Deloitte's ecosystem of alliances, technology partners and multidisciplinary teams, he helps governments enhance efficiency, accessibility, agility and responsiveness, enabling them to better serve citizens and society while addressing increasingly complex economic, social and environmental challenges.
In Deloitte EMEA, 16 firms operating across 80 countries, with over 132,000 professionals, Miguel fosters cross-border collaboration, bringing together industry expertise, technology capabilities and leading practices to help governments and public institutions deliver more efficient, accessible and citizen-centric outcomes.
Miguel previously served as Global Central Government Leader (2024-2026) and as Deloitte Central Europe (DCE GmbH) Government & Public Services Leader (2021-2026), following five years as the firm's Global Smart Cities & Urban Transformation Leader (2019-2024). Throughout these leadership roles, he championed innovation in government, urban development, mobility and sustainability, working with governments, private sector organizations and international institutions to drive large-scale transformation initiatives and contribute to improving urban living conditions for more than one billion people by 2030.
