Ben is the leader of Deloitte’s UK Central Government business and our lead client service partner for HM Treasury. He also co-leads Deloitte’s Center for Fiscal Systems – our global insights platform for Tax Administration which brings thinking and innovation from our work with Tax and Finance authorities in countries from Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as well as the Middle East, Singapore and India.
He is a Partner with over 25 years’ experience in finance and tax globally, having also worked originally in Australia and has particularly focused on tax and trade in government for the past 15 years. He has advised extensively to central government, local government and the private sector on finance and taxation issues and has a deep insight into working with government. He leads our teams who work across a wide range of government departments including Cabinet Office, HMT, DBT, DSIT, HMRC, DWP and FCDO. He is also responsible for ensuring that our global insight and expertise in those domains are brought to bear for UK Government.
