Ian Sanders is the Global Lead Client Service Partner for BHP, having worked with BHP since 2003. Ian is also the Global Mining and Metals Sector Lead. Outside of mining, Ian’s industry experience is complemented by previous experience in renewable energy, services, and manufacturing sectors amongst others. Ian has over 35 years’ experience providing audit and advisory services to a wide range of multinational and Australian Listed companies across several ER&I sectors including mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, and renewables.
Ian previously served as the Australian Mining & Metals Sector Leader. In his Global roles, Ian leads a team from around the world and has the responsibility to set the strategic direction and go-to-market strategy for the global Mining & Metals practice. Ian is passionate about the important role the sector plays in driving the Energy Transition and contributing towards a more sustainable future.
