Nikolaj is a Partner and State Authorised Public Accountant at Deloitte, with more than 25 years of experience advising foundations, family offices and family-owned businesses. He is part of the leadership team of Deloitte’s Audit practice in Denmark.
Nikolaj is also the Danish and Nordic leader of Deloitte Family Office, advising wealthy families and family-owned businesses on ownership, succession and the dynamics between family, ownership, and business. He has facilitated a range of programs for families and has extensive experience working with NextGen networks and future generations of owners.
As sponsor and partner of Deloitte’s Foundations practice, Nikolaj is closely involved in developing Deloitte’s services and activities for the private foundation sector.
Nikolaj thus has extensive experience advising companies, families and private foundations on governance, wealth management, philanthropy, and distributions – not least on the interaction between foundations and their underlying companies and investments.
Across his work, Nikolaj focuses on building long-term and trusted relationships and on being a proactive, pragmatic, and value-creating adviser to owners, boards, and management teams.
