As a market-leading audit and advisory firm in Denmark, we maintained stable revenue compared with last year. Revenue totalled DKK 5,358m, compared with DKK 5,306m in FY25. All but one business unit recorded higher levels of activity, as described below. Overall, revenue increased primarily through organic growth.
Staff costs, including partner remuneration, totalled DKK 3,416m, representing an increase from the previous year. The increase was driven mainly by a modest rise in salary levels and other staff costs.
The average number of full-time employees in FY26 was 2,932, slightly lower than in FY25 (FY25:2,964). Of total staff, 284 were partners on 31 May 2026 (31 May 2025: 287).
External expenses increased by 3% to DKK 1,746m. The increase was mainly driven by a slight increase in use of subcontractors and other Deloitte member firm cost.
Profit for the year amounted to DKK 76m, down DKK 37m from last year’s profit. Earnings declined mainly because of proceeds from the A&A divestment recognised in FY25.
Revenue was slightly above last year’s level but below the expectations set out in the FY25 Annual Report, reflecting a challenging market environment and the ongoing transformation of the portfolio. Most business units grew, primarily through organic growth. Staff costs and external expenses rose. Profit for the year met expectations, as FY25 included income from divested activities. In assessing the results, it should be noted that remuneration to equity partners was recognised as staff costs.
Taking into consideration the general development in the economy and the profession, next year we expect to see satisfactory growth across the business. When excluding the impact from the Divestment the overall increase in revenue of 1-2% is expected and earnings for the coming year is expected to increase accordingly excluding income from the proceed from the divested activities.
