Deloitte Poland and Ukrgasbank are pleased to invite you to an exclusive side event, held on the eve of the 2026 Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk. This half-day event, scheduled for Wednesday, 24 June 2026, at the Radisson Hotel Gdańsk, is intended for knowledge sharing about the successful reconstruction projects and exploration of key mechanisms and tools supporting Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction.

You will join a discussion among distinguished assembly of global leaders, including representatives from Ukrainian and supporting governments, the European Union, development organizations, financial institutions and key Ukrainian and international businesses. The programme will feature insightful morning sessions covering executing past and future reconstruction projects and available investment support mechanisms.

Break-out sessions

The session will focus on practical ways that can  turn disruption into opportunity and explore priority investment needs in Ukraine’s energy sector. Investors, owners, financiers and public sector representatives will share hands-on experience in energy projects financed or delivered during the Russia-Ukraine war , including practical guidelines on proven support mechanisms (e.g., risk sharing, guarantees, blended finance, etc.).

This session will explore the outlook for Ukraine’s potential integration with the EU and what it means for investors in Ukraine, drawing on incumbents’ experiences, who are already navigating the market in Ukraine. It will highlight already available support mechanisms for investment and lessons from Poland and the Baltics states on attracting Foreign Direct Investment during the pre-accession period. The discussion will conclude with a forward look at Ukraine’s investment opportunities pipeline.

This session will highlight examples of both completed and ongoing projects that are helping to bolster Ukraine's infrastructure development and contributing significantly to its economic progress. Furthermore, it will detail the existing mechanisms and tools available to support investment, including a broad  overview of the implications arising from Ukraine's recently adopted Public-Private Partnership (PPP) law.

This session will highlight Ukraine’s journey from establishing a GenAI Centre of Excellence in just three months to successfully scaling AI-enabled services such as Diia and Mriia. The discussion will focus on how AI is helping to transform government services, unlocking open data, and enabling faster, smarter decision-making. Furthermore, it will demonstrate how these capabilities can extend into reconstruction efforts through initiatives like the Digital Twin for Reconstruction, effectively bridging service delivery and recovery.
