Karl Meissner-Roloff is a Partner at Deloitte where he leads the Canadian Actuarial and Insurance Solutions P&C practice. For almost 20 years he has been working with Property & Casualty Insurers and Reinsurers across North America, the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. During that time, he has been advising clients on their challenges in capital management, regulatory and accounting requirement changes, valuation and pricing.
Karl is a big technology enthusiast and is passionate about driving Actuarial Modernization and transformative change throughout the actuarial value chain. Karl is a member of OSFI's Appointed Actuarial Advisory Committee, and volunteers on the CIA Practice Education sub-committee for P&C, as well as the Committee on Risk Management and Capital Requirements. Previously he volunteered on a variety of committees for the South African Actuarial Society including the General Insurance Practice committee, Education Sub-committees related to tuition and syllabus of the General Insurance Fellowship exam.
