Currently, as Deloitte Canada’s Chief Economist, Dawn provides thought leadership on economic trends and supports the firm’s Economic Advisory practice. She plays a key role in shaping national dialogues and offering actionable insights to help drive the Canadian economy forward. In her former position as Deputy Chief Economist at RBC, Dawn led teams of economists in developing forecasts, producing research publications, and delivering presentations to clients, policymakers, and not-for-profit organizations. Her career also includes roles as a reporter for Bloomberg Financial News in Canada and as a bond strategist at JP Morgan Canada.
