Common Purpose: A timely and more effective way to organize groups with different interests.

Situation Summary

It was much easier to mobilize groups of people in a common direction when corporations and governments had a greater share of control and power. Access to information and social technologies, however, have fundamentally upended that power dynamic resulting in disparate and fragmented groups pulling and pushing organizations in various directions. Leaders of organizations, from countries to companies, need a more effective way to organize fragmented stakeholder groups in common purpose and direction.
