Daniel Tremblay is a Partner and Head of the US Corporate Tax Team for Canada. He has more than 25 years of experience in US and international tax matters. He has extensive experience with Canadian multinationals operating in the United States, at the federal and state levels.
His experience and knowledge meet the needs of several types of service providers, manufacturers and distributors in the Quebec market by helping them to optimize tax obligations, ensure compliance and take full advantage of cross-border opportunities.
Daniel is an expert in US and federal tax laws and how they interact with Canadian tax principles.
During his career Daniel has been able to advise companies on a range of national and international tax issues, including the structuring of the first foreign investments, the financing of international operations, cross-border transactions, global tax arbitrage and related planning and corporate restructuring.
Daniel is a regular speaker and lecturer for the Tax and Financial Planning Association and a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, Daniel has a tremendous experience in US corporate taxation.
Daniel holds a bachelor's degree in business administration (B.B.A.) in accounting from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He also completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) Taxation Development course in addition to several corporate taxation courses in the United States.
