Deloitte Private announces names of 50 fastest-growing Belgian technology companies and 10 Rising Star finalists

Deloitte Private unveils top players in the Belgian start-up and scale-up world with the 12th Technology Fast 50 nominees and Rising Star finalists.

Brussels, 25 September 2025 – Deloitte Private today released the names of the nominees of the 12th Technology Fast 50 in Belgium. In addition to the list of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies, Deloitte Private also named the 10 finalists of the Rising Star competition, which recognises promising companies that have been active in the technology sector for less than four years. The Technology Fast 50 award will be presented to the fastest-growing technology company in Belgium in terms of its percentage of growth in turnover over the past four years. Deloitte Private will announce the Fast 50 winner 2025 as well as the different category winners at the Fast 50 Awards Ceremony on 23 October 2025. Click here for the full list of nominees.   

At this year’s Fast 50 Awards Ceremony, Deloitte Private will bring together the key players from Belgium’s tech scene, helping expand the networks of technology entrepreneurs. By connecting start-ups and scale-ups with corporations and family-owned and run companies, investors, and entrepreneurs, Deloitte Private aims to stimulate cross-fertilisation and further encourage technological innovation in the vibrant Belgian scale-up ecosystem.

In addition to the award for fastest growth, the 2025 Fast 50 contestant that has consistently ranked in the top 50 over the past four years and achieved the highest average growth during this period will receive the award for Most Sustainable Growth.

Rising Star and Most Disruptive Innovator nominees   

Companies that have been active in the technology sector for less than four years are featured in the Rising Star category. On 17 September, over 60 Rising Star applicants delivered a first pitch in front of a jury of Deloitte Private industry experts. These 10 companies made it to the final and are invited to pitch again to the Rising Star external jury on 23 October: 

  • Karomia - Vadim Van Tomme, Ghent: Karomia develops and delivers innovative ESG reporting software for sustainability leaders, enabling them to create better insights and operate with maximum efficiency. 
  • Conveo.aiDieter De Mesmaeker, Antwerp: Conveo.ai offers AI-driven conversational platforms that enable businesses to automate customer interactions and improve engagement. 
  • Revision Implant - Frederik Ceyssens, Leuven: Revision Implant develops prosthesis that restores useful vision to blind people. AI-Blox – Jeroen Plasman, Zaventem:
  • AI-Blox Jeroen Plasman, Zaventem: creates modular artificial intelligence hardware components that simplify the integration of AI capabilities into existing business systems. 
  • NXGSAT - Alain Rollé, Ghent: NXGSAT develops next-generation software that enables seamless integration of satellite and terrestrial wireless communication technologies to provide enhanced global communication and data services. 
  • Polysense - Yarne De Munck, Ghent: Polysense produces smart sensor technologies that enable real-time monitoring and data collection for industrial applications in the food industry. 
  • Predikt - Nick Vandesype, Leuven: Predikt leverages predictive analytics and machine learning to help companies forecast trends and optimise decision-making. 
  • Breed BioBart Verstrynge, Hasselt: Breed Bio pioneers sustainable biotechnology solutions to improve agricultural productivity and environmental health. 
  • XFA - Lars Veelaert, Antwerp: XFA develops a device security solution that seamlessly identifies every device used for work, increases user awareness, and verifies compliance with the security policy for each device during login - all without needing direct control or management of the devices. 
  • Uma Health Ann Broché, Grimbergen: Uma Health provides digital health platforms that empower patients and healthcare providers through personalised care management, focused on women going through (peri) menopause.

The Rising Star jury is chaired by Boris Bogaert, serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Pitchdrive. The jury includes distinguished members from the business community: 

  • Veroniek Collewaert, Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Vlerick Business School  
  • Sophie Stegen, Head of Listing at Euronext Benelux & Central Eastern Europe 
  • Katrijn Moesick, Venture Acceleration Manager at Imec.istart 
  • Jean de Crane, Former CEO of Isabel Group 
  • Renaat Berckmoes, Co-founding Partner of Fortino Capital Partners 
  • Marie Bouillez, Board member at Belgian Growth Fund
  • Dimitri O, Co-founder of Loop Earplugs (Fast 50 winner 2022, 2024)  

The Most Disruptive Innovator award is presented to the Rising Star nominee that has developed the most revolutionary concept or product within a specific technology segment.  

The 2025 Belgian Technology Fast 50 competition is organised in cooperation with Euronext, SAP and Vlerick Business School.
