At this year’s Fast 50 Awards Ceremony Deloitte Private will bring together the key players from Belgium’s tech scene, helping expand the networks of technology entrepreneurs. By connecting start-ups and scale-ups with corporations and family-owned and run companies, investors, and entrepreneurs, Deloitte Private aims to stimulate cross-fertilisation and further encourage technological innovation in the vibrant Belgian scale-up ecosystem.
“After a decade of welcoming hundreds of enthusiastic entrepreneurs to the Rising Star preselection, it’s exciting that the start-up scene in Belgium continues to surprise and inspire us. This year’s participants, and in particular the finalists, definitely have the power to make an impact with their innovative products or services and their passion for making a difference. They did not make it easy for our industry experts who had to select the 10 young tech companies that will pitch for the Rising Star jury,”
said Yannick Van den broeke, Programme Director Technology Fast 50.
In addition to the award for fastest growth, the 2024 Fast 50 contestant that achieved continuous growth over the past years will receive an award for Most Sustainable Growth.
One winner for each of the below categories will also be awarded.
Companies that have been active in the technology sector for less than four years are featured in the Rising Star category. On 18 September, 70+ Rising Star applicants delivered a first pitch in front of a jury of Deloitte Private industry experts. These 10 companies made it to the final and are invited to pitch again to the Rising Star jury on 24 October:
