Stijn Demeestere

Stijn Demeestere heads the firm’s Employment, Pensions and Benefits team.

He has ample expertise in all legal HR matters. He particularly specialises in dismissal law (both individual and collective), flexible working time and the employment aspects of various types of business reorganisations.

He is frequently interviewed by De Tijd (the Belgian equivalent of The Times) and publishes on Jobat (the online employment section of newspaper De Standaard). He wrote many books (on topics such as protected employees and anti-discrimination) and articles (on topics such as the new dismissal legislation, outplacement and bridge pension).
