Koen Beckers is a Partner in Deloitte’s Global Employer Services (GES) practice in Belgium and has almost 25 years of experience in national and international tax, social security and payroll matters. He has been serving a variety of multinational companies (mainly in the pharmaceutical and advanced materials sectors). This knowledge was capitalized through his role as Global Lead for one of our US based flagship clients between until 2014, based out of the US. At this moment, he serves multinational clients with global or regional headquarters in Belgium. In addition to the above, Koen is also a frequent presenter at external and internal seminars focusing on the future of work and remote work. As of 1 June 2024, Koen is the GES Offering Portfolio Leader for Belgium.
Koen used to be the Talent Partner for Tax & Legal in Belgium between 2015 and 2023. In this role, he drove the development and execution of the Talent strategy and initiatives for the Tax & Legal Deloitte team in Belgium.
Between 2023 and 2026, Koen took up the role of Managing Partner Growth within the executive team of Deloitte Belgium. In this role, he led different markets initiatives across the Firm, leveraging different dimensions such as industries, business sectors, executive platforms, etc. that led to sustainable growth.
He continues to serve as Engagement Partner and Lead Client Service Partner for a number of organizations with a considerable impact on Belgian economy and society.
