Katia is a Senior Director in the US corporate international tax group of Deloitte Brussels. Katia joined the Brussels practice of Deloitte in 2003 and has over 23 years of extensive practice in US international tax and accounting.
Katia has managed projects involving various aspects of US tax consulting/compliance and tax accounting for companies throughout Europe and the US. She has specifically consulted clients on international corporate restructuring (reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, debt restructuring), passive foreign investment companies, controlled foreign corporations and subpart F issues, foreign currency transactions, dual consolidated loss analysis and planning, foreign tax credit planning and compliance, financing transactions, permanent establishment issues, FIRPTA, and treaty analysis. She has provided tax accounting advice and US tax provision calculation services to multinational clients dealing with various aspects of ASC 740 accounting.
