Joke is a partner in the Deloitte Brussels office with over 18 years of professional experience in tax advisory with a focus on advising family and privately owned businesses operating in the Consumer and ER&I industry building trusted relationships with business owners and C-suite. Joke is leading the Fashion cluster within the Consumer industry in Belgium.
Joke has over 18 years of experience advising family and privately owned businesses with various domestic and international corporate tax matters such as: design and implementation of (internal) group restructurings, business model conversion and next generation planning. She has also built extensive experience in advising clients with tax audit advisory services and navigating clients through the various departments of the Belgian tax authorities (e.g. Ruling Commission and Mediation Commission). Joke especially focuses on providing family owned business in an integrated manner on all levels of the family business (i.e. family, family office and operations). Joke has a focus on developing trusted relationships with companies in the Consumer and ER&I industry. Joke holds a Master in Law and a Ma-na-ma in Tax and is a chartered Tax advisor with the Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants.
