Joël Brehmen

Joël is Managing Partner Audit & Assurance and Risk & Reputation. He has been a member of the Deloitte Belgium Executive Committee since 2016 and accepted the role as Risk & Reputation lead in 2019. Joël is a member of the Deloitte North and South Europe (NSE) Audit & Assurance Executive Board and the Belgian Institute of Chartered Accountants (Instituut van de Bedrijfsrevisoren/Institut des Réviseurs d’Entreprises).
He has over 30 years of experience in Audit & Assurance services, having coordinated US GAAP and IFRS audits for large corporations within the consumer business and manufacturing industries, as well as both public interest entities and private corporates. Over the years, Joël has continued to build on his already extensive experience with international environments, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), financial reporting and controls, operations, and governance.
In his leadership role, Joël dedicates much of his time to connecting with our clients.
