Asset Management Maturity Development

We can help you to increase the asset management maturity within your utility organisation by:

  • Providing you with a complete overview of all asset management domains that should be covered within your organisation
  • Pinpointing strengths and weaknesses within these different asset management domains
  • Identifying action for improvement in a more targeted manner
  • Developing a roadmap for the way forward for your asset management organisation
  • Assisting you in the implementation of this roadmap
  • Preparing your organisation for ISO55000 certification
Our solution is threefold:

  • Foundations Assessment:
a high-level quick scan that delivers a standardised report on your asset management maturity.
  • Capability building:
further build your asset management capabilities with a toolbox tailored to your needs.
  • ISO55000 gap assessment:
a formal gap analysis with the ISO55000 standard, for which Deloitte is an Endorsed Assessor by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM).
Foundations Assessment

Our Foundations Assessment is a free, online self-assessment of your asset management maturity.

It allows you to get a quick overview of the different asset management domains and their maturity, as well as an overall asset management maturity rating.

Contact us here to receive access to the free, online self-assessment.

Do you prefer to receive personal guidance when filling out the assessment? Do you want to involve multiple employees within your organisation? Do you want to benchmark yourself with your peers in the industry? We would be glad to organise a workshop at your premises during which we facilitate the completion of this questionnaire together with you and your team. Contact us here for a guided foundations assessment

You will receive a report on your asset management maturity, including comparison with the utility industry benchmark for every question and domain.

Capability building

Do you already have a view on your asset management maturity? Why not let our experts come on site and conduct interviews with the different asset management stakeholders within your organisation?

These interviews will allow us to quickly pinpoint your strengths and your improvement opportunities.

Based on these insights, we can provide you with an asset management toolbox tailored to your needs. This will allow you to step to the next level of maturity and further build asset management capabilities within your organisation.

ISO55000 gap assessment

Have you already been building a strong asset management organisation? Do you want to find out to which extent you are ready for an ISO55000 certification?

Let our experts come on site, conduct interviews with the different asset management stakeholders within your organisation, and look for evidence of the findings of the interviews in existing documents and reports.

These interviews combined with the evidence reviews will allow us to make a formal gap assessment with the ISO55000 standard and identify actions for improvement in order the reach full compliance.

In addition, in close collaboration with you we will prepare a compliance roadmap based on the earlier identified actions for improvement. This roadmap will allow you to set the right priorities against a realistic timeframe.

You will receive a customised report on your asset management maturity, identifying the gaps between your asset management organisation and the ISO55000 standard, actions for improvement as well as a roadmap for the implementation of these actions.
