• Internal Control Governance and its role within the organization
• “Three lines of defense" model and its practical application
• Internal Control challenges and trends
• Internal controls best practices and standards (e.g. SOX requirements)
• Controls assurance and Internal Control Statement
• Identification and review of controls within key business process
• Internal controls documentation
• Practical exercises (identification of controls for sample business process)
