Rita is the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Transformation Officer for Risk Advisory services in Australia and works alongside global peers to provide enhanced risk propositions for our clients through data, AI, product development, innovation and alliance partnerships. Rita is a partner in Cyber Services in the area of Data and Identity and has a specific focus on the use of advance data analysis for Cyber Services as well as Cyber Fraud prevention and detection. She also works closely with the broader risk team on services related to regulatory compliance across a range of topics. Rita is an experienced strategic advisor, qualified statistician and transformational business leader specialising in risk data and technology solutions. She has 20 years’ experience solving complex problems and leading large initiatives across various industries including financial services, health services and the energy sector with some of Australia’s most well-known brands.

Ian Blatchford

Deloitte - Global
Ian leads Deloitte’s Cyber business in Australia. He has 20 years of experience delivering technology and cyber projects to clients across the world. Ian has worked with a number of global organisations and governments to ensure this risk posed by emerging technologies are understand and managed effectively. He has worked on a number of high profile engagements throughout his career including planning and securing events such as G20 summit in Brisbane.

Adam McCarthy

Deloitte - Australia
Adam is the former CEO and co-founder of ParaFlare, a leading Australian Managed Detection and Response company. For over 13 years, Adam served within the Australian Department of Defence and Special Operations Command Australia as a member of the Australian Army. He was responsible for the delivery and operation of niche cyber and ICT capabilities including those that were standalone and sensitive in nature. His experience includes work for the Australian Department of Defence, Australian Federal Police, Telstra Corporation, United States State Department and United States Department of Defense. He has served in multiple operations throughout Australia Pacific Region, Middle East and Asia. His technical cyber background combined with his experience building and developing a successful business gives him a unique understanding of the Australian cyber security landscape and the challenges we face.
