Deloitte Africa appoints new Financial Advisory Partner

Johannesburg, February 1 Deloitte Africa has today announced Temitope Odukoya (Tope) as its new Financial Advisory Managing Partner and member of its Executive Committee.

Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Tope (44) joined Deloitte as a Financial Advisory Partner in 2014 and became the West Africa Financial Advisory Leader in February 2015. 

In addition to having a broad background serving West African and international clients across several industries and functions, Tope serves as a member of both the West Africa Executive Committee and the Financial Advisory Africa Leadership Committee.

He has served as the Deloitte representative on the Board of the Association of Auditors and Reporting Accountants in the Capital Markets and is currently serving a second term as the Chairman of the Corporate Finance Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is a mentor at Endeavor, an international NGO devoted to mentoring entrepreneurs.

Tope has an MBA jointly awarded by Columbia Business School, New York and London Business School in the United Kingdom (UK). He also earned an MSc in Finance & Management from Cranfield University, UK and a BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He has attended executive training courses at Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Oxford. Tope is a CFA Charter Holder as well as a Fellow Chartered Accountant with the ICAN.
