Tendai is a senior manager in Deloitte’s Risk Advisory: Operational Risk capability – focused on governance advisory services. She is also an admitted attorney with 9 years post-admission experience, a Masters in Commercial law and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Information and Communications law. Tendai is currently in the process of obtaining her certification as a Certified Director from the Institute of Directors. Tendai has lead various governance transformation engagements which commence with the identification of areas of development from a governance perspective within an organisation followed by actioning the relevant remedial activities required, which could involve undertaking training, developing governance documents such as terms of reference, delegations of authority, governance frameworks, ethics frameworks, policy frameworks and various other terms of reference. She is well versed in King IV and other best practice governance imperatives. Tendai regularly attends to board effectiveness assessments, board inductions and board training. Tendai is also experienced in the review and drafting of various types of contracts as well as the review and interpretation of legislation.
