Monique is a Director in the Financial Services Advisory (FSA) division of Deloitte Africa. She leads the division’s Trading Risk and Corporate Treasury service offerings for financial and non-financial institutions. Monique has 18 years of professional experience in Financial Services. Her experience covers technical aspects such as building, implementing and/or validating risk, economic and regulatory capital models / systems, as well as matters such as governance & controls. The scope of her experience stretches across Africa and the Middle East.

Monique has leadership experience in Market Risk Analytics across multiple geographies. Her responsibilities have included business-as-usual risk measurement and monitoring activities in line with both local and international regulatory requirements. She has established Market Risk functions internationally with adequate governance frameworks.
