Carike is a Partner in the Deloitte Africa Actuarial and Insurance Solutions (AIS) practice, with 25 years’ experience across insurance actuarial work, including financial and regulatory reporting, capital and risk management, actuarial modelling and product development and pricing. She has worked with a range of insurers across South Africa, regularly engaging with boards and executive stakeholders through her HAF roles and advisory engagements. She has experience mobilising multidisciplinary teams to respond to complex client needs. Carike is the Deloitte Africa Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) for several insurance clients. She contributes to various initiatives to drive the advancement of women in the actuarial profession and financial services industry. Carike is a member of the Deloitte Africa Board. She is also the Western Cape Office Managing Partner.
