Kris has 25 years experience as a consultant and advisor on IT Risk Management, IT Governance and Cyber Security. As Partner and Lead for PwC Cyber Africa, Managing Director at SLVA Information Security, and a Risk Advisory and Security Competency Partner at Deloitte, Kris has had the opportunity to direct numerous Cyber Security transformation, strategy and operations programs.

Kris also serves either as a CISO, or as an advisor to the CISO, at a number of large and medium size retail, financial services and manufacturing institutions, frequently reporting to Technology Board Sub-committees and mentoring Security Managers to ensure that his clients’ Cyber Resilience strategies are executed effectively and efficiently. Kris has also presented to numerous Boards, Board sub-committees and Non-executive Director Forums on the topics of cyber security and governance.

Monish Gala was appointed as Lead Business Development of Africa for Siemens Energy, on October 1, 2022. Based in South Africa, Monish is responsible for supporting Siemens Energy’s business across the African continent and developing opportunities to meet the challenges of the energy transition, while improving access to secure, stable, affordable, and sustainable energy. A major focus for his in the role of Lead Business Development is to establish new relationships with key stakeholders while also aiding them in their energy transition journey by providing them with Innovative, Digital, and Secure solutions.

From October 2021 – October 2022, Monish was Head of Growth for Controls and Digitalisation, Gas and Power Business Unit for Southern and Eastern Africa. Driving and Developing regional strategic growth plan for Siemens Energy’s Cyber Security offerings for Power Plants while empowering the local execution team for same was one of his primary responsibilities during this role.

Starting his career in 2006, Monish has been instrumental in various Controls and Digitalisation upgrade and refurbishment projects in Southern Africa. Monish holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Africa Business Management from the Henley Business School and Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation from Mumbai University. In his spare time, Monish loves spending time with his family, (wife and two children), reading and watching cricket.

Romaric is an accomplished Cybersecurity and Penetration Testing leader with over 20 years of global experience developing and executing security programs for large multinational corporations across Africa, Europe, and the UAE.

He is adept at consultative selling to C-level executives and translating technical solutions into compelling investment opportunities. As a cybersecurity expert, he is largely driven by the "fix it" phase of penetration testing and has solid implementation experience in threat modelling and security design review methodologies.

Sia is an innovative contributor and speaker with numerous appearances and presentations within leading information security conferences and events. He is presently the Chief Information Security Officer for United Bank of Africa.

Samresh is Director (Partner) in the Deloitte South African practice where he leads the Cyber Risk business across Africa.

He is a passionate cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience in the Sub-Saharan cybersecurity market. Core experience spans deep technical roles through to executive business and people management, across market sectors.

Samresh is a member of the Deloitte Risk Advisory Africa Leadco where he contributes to the strategic leadership of the broader business. His focus area will be to contribute towards continuous efforts to position our Deloitte Cyber practice as the undisputed leader with our key clients. He will also expand our market coverage through our Operate services to alleviate client cyber challenges.

Anthony has a master’s degree in IT from Strathmore university and a Bachelors in Business Information Technology from JKUAT. He is a certified information systems auditor (CISA), a certified Data Privacy Solutions engineer (CDPSE), a certified risk and information systems control (CRISC) and a holder of ITIL and CSX certifications. His focus areas focus areas are in Cybersecurity, Data Privacy & Digital Trust.
