Kate Hardin leads Deloitte’s research team focused on the implications of the energy transition for the industrial, oil, gas, and power sectors and has an experience of more than 25 years in the energy industry. Before that, she led IHS Markit Ltd’s integrated coverage of transportation decarbonization and the implications for automotive and energy companies.

As a Vice Chair and U.S. Energy and Chemicals Leader at Deloitte, Rick has a history of working with clients to align signature industry issues with solutions that innovate, transform, and create improved operational and financial performance. In his role, Rick drives E&C market strategies, innovations, and perspectives that enable our market leadership and client service teams to collaborate with our clients to deliver bottom-line results.

Rick has more than 30 years of experience in industry and consulting, leading and delivering business transformations, operational improvements, digital programs, M&A, and cost reduction programs with a focus on supply chain, operations and maintenance, and projects. His Deloitte leadership roles have included Deloitte Consulting Energy & Chemicals Sector Leader, Deloitte Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) Consulting Sales Excellence, ER&I Consulting in Southeast Asia, and global ER&I supply chain and operations. While in industry, Rick has also run a global supply chain center of excellence, supporting global service centers.

Thomas Keefe has more than 34 years of experience serving clients in the energy industry and has served as the lead client service partner, concurring partner, or advisory partner on several large energy clients from across the industry. His experience includes external audit, internal control audits, rate case filing reviews, and purchase accounting. Keefe also has expertise in SEC requirements, including those associated with initial public offerings, and in ratemaking and other areas of regulatory accounting.

Steve leads the Industrial Products & Construction practice for Deloitte Consulting LLP. He has more than 25 years of experience helping highly engineered product manufacturing companies drive performance improvements through the use of advanced techniques and technologies. He specializes in the development of transformational solutions that enable clients to reduce operational costs, improve productivity, and drive growth.

He holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

As a Vice Chair at Deloitte Consulting LLP, Kelly has a history of working with clients to help them innovate and transform, with a focus on delivering business value. As Deloitte Consulting's US Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) Industry Leader, Kelly develops and executes the industry practice strategy, sets the innovation agenda, and collaborates with client service teams to drive client value, and develops Deloitte’s ER&I talent. Kelly previously led Deloitte’s US SAP practice and alliance–helping clients activate intelligent, cloud-enabled technologies and working with SAP^® to reimagine client solutions through co-innovation.

Kelly is an innovator and value-generation leader, presenting in such prestigious marketplace forums as the World Economic Forum, Female Quotient panels, and SAP’s SAPPHIRE conference. She is passionate about building the next generation of leaders, working with Texas Christian University’s MBA Consulting Advisory Group, and supporting children and STEM education through the Ella Project.
