Our advisory service offering broadly covers:
Strategic Recovery and Resolution: Including the interpretation, development and implementation of recovery plans and resolution frameworks. This includes supporting firms and authorities with testing exercises, alongside an experienced set of SMEs in the Capital, MREL, Valuations, Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR) space, and the development of FCA wind-down plans.
Restructuring Situations: Facilitating financial services clients in distressed positions, including conducting valuations, disposals, and preparing for the execution of wind-down plans. This includes contingency planning with resolution authorities, Section 166 FSMA Skilled Person (“S166”) reports and strategic advice identifying potential risks to business models.
Financial Resilience and Strategic Regulatory Advisory: Working closely with colleagues across other specialist teams in Deloitte to provide financial resilience and strategic regulatory advisory services, including the development of capabilities in response to financial challenges (for example stress testing and developing enterprise risk frameworks), regulatory input into M&A and strategic reviews, and assisting with preparatory activities for regulatory meetings. The team works together with banking specialists across Deloitte in risk advisory and consulting, providing a full suite of holistic banking advice services.
