Deloitte and One Young World

Our partnership develops young professionals into future leaders who can solve the world’s toughest challenges.

About Deloitte and OYW partnership

One Young World, a not for profit, annually convenes a global summit with over 2000 of the brightest young leaders from around the world and empowers them to create a positive impact. A once in a lifetime opportunity, the young leaders learn how to make a difference, challenge thinking, develop leadership skills and build their networks globally.

At Deloitte, we believe we have a responsibility to be a force for good and help lead the way on the increasingly complex challenges society faces today. Our OYW partnership develops young professionals into leaders who can address global matters.

The next Summit is in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from 2-5 October 2023, where Deloitte will be the opening ceremony principal partner. The OYW delegates from over 30 countries are set to solve the world’s toughest challenges.

Lead2030 Challenge: helping build a better, more sustainable future, for both people and planet

This year, Deloitte is proudly sponsoring two OYW Lead2030 Challenges. For the fourth year, Deloitte is supporting innovative, youth-led initiatives that make an impact toward addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4—Quality Education. Through this challenge we invest in solutions focused on access to education, skills development, lifelong learning, and entrepreneurship.

And for the second time, Deloitte is proudly supporting a challenge focused on SDG 13—Climate Action. This challenge aims to address climate change in bold, meaningful, innovative ways—from empowering local people to undertaking climate action to strengthening resilience.

Deloitte OYW Scholarship

This year Deloitte will be sponsoring five outstanding #OYW2023 leaders with fully funded scholarships to attend the OYW Summit alongside our delegation in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We are selecting scholars from diverse backgrounds, all driving impactful initiatives in line with Deloitte’s WorldClass and WorldClimate ambitions.
