Dr. Yuanjing Li is an experienced energy economist with more than ten years’ experience in the energy sector. She has deep understanding of the power, gas, and carbon industries as well as their dynamics and interactions. Yuanjing has advised regulators, governments, energy companies, and system operators on a wide range of economic issues including market design, regulation, asset and infrastructure valuation, impact assessment, competition, business models of low-carbon technologies etc.
She has significant modelling experience in the European and Australian energy sector and has developed economic and optimisation models for clients in numerous assignments. In recent years, she has extended her interests to the energy sector in GCC countries.
