Yannis is a grants and incentives specialist with 6+ years of experience in leading grant proposals across several UK/EU funding regimes, as well as managing and delivering R&D tax claims across various technology sectors.
Yannis is a grants and incentives specialist with 6+ years of experience in leading grant proposals across several UK/EU funding regimes, as well as managing and delivering R&D tax claims across various technology sectors.
His experience with grant applications ranges from analysing business drivers behind projects and influencing market penetration strategy, through to coordination of multinational consortia, proposal delivery and due diligence support. Yannis specialises in advising businesses about optimal project set up to maximise chances of securing funding, while aligning with private investment strategy and ESG priorities.
Yannis’ research work (PhD in the Development of Biofuels from Waste from UCL’s Mechanical Engineering Dept.) and relevant industry experience enables him to effectively engage with technical teams and translate technological concepts into insightful narratives to secure funding. He also holds an MSc in Biotechnology and an MEng in Chemical Engineering.
