Stuart is a signing Director in the Channel Islands audit and assurance practice. He is responsible for a broad portfolio of investment fund, private equity and insurance companies, with over 20 years of financial services experience.
Based in Guernsey, Stuart’s role as Director includes leading quality and risk function for the Channel Island offices as well as for the professional standard review team. Stuart’s current audit clients comprise of listed investment funds, investment management and private equity structures and insurance engagements.
He has built up an extensive knowledge of company reporting and corporate governance in the UK and Guernsey, as well as significant experience in IFRS and UK GAAP. In addition, Stuart has considerable banking, fiduciary, internal controls, internal audit and transaction services experience.
Stuart holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He is also a member of the Guernsey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants.
